Alicia Mercante

Alicia is the founder of MADE (Mercante Authentic Design Experience), a Hamilton-based business rooted in creativity, community, and compassion. Guided by the belief that giving is better than receiving, MADE lives by its motto: from thread to art, a gift from the heart. A lifelong educator, Alicia launched MADE to honour her mother’s 10-year battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s. In just a few years, MADE has grown into a thriving business that gives back, donating a portion of every purchase to the Alzheimer’s Society.
