Cherie is the corporate controller at E.S. Fox Limited, where she oversees all accounting operations. Born and raised in Niagara, Cherie’s interest in business and finance began early, and she joined E.S. Fox Limited as a staff accountant in 1996. She completed her CGA certification and advanced to accounting supervisor. Cherie’s exceptional work has been recognized throughout her career, leading to her promotion to corporate controller in 2015. She contributes her time to various committees across Niagara and is known for her leadership, insight, and dedication to her field.

As the owner and president of this custom copper and sheet metal shop, Darryl Smith has shown commitment and dedication to his company and clients by continuously learning and improving. Hands-on by nature, he learned the trade from his father, Brian, and has expanded the family business to new levels. From humble beginnings that started in grade school, Darryl now leads a team of 25 employees.

Dr. Gamble received his Honours degree in science from Brock University before graduating as a doctor of chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. In 2012, Dr. Gamble and his business partner opened Niagara Health & Rehab Centre—a multidisciplinary clinic offering chiropractic, physiotherapy, and massage therapy. He is committed to patient-focused care and developing efficient, effective treatment plans. Dr. Gamble also teaches part-time and regularly contributes to local health initiatives.

Graham Lowe is a business information officer at the St. Catharines Enterprise Centre, where he works with aspiring entrepreneurs to validate their market assumptions, refine business ideas, secure funding, and launch or grow their enterprises. Graham also teaches business through the City of St. Catharines and serves as a business coach for Futurepreneur Canada. He is a past choreographer for the Stiletto Stallions' Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser and an active volunteer in various community initiatives.

Jeff Aird began his education with an Honours degree in kinesiology at Brock University and later completed a master’s degree in physiotherapy at McMaster University. Jeff is a clinical director at Niagara Orthopaedic Institute and holds distinction as an Associate Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University. His commitment to research and teaching has earned him recognition as a reviewer for national journals, and he was awarded the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s National Mentorship Award in 2016.

In 2015, Jennifer celebrated the grand opening of Second Dance, Niagara’s first bridal consignment boutique. Jennifer’s dedication to her family, community, and creative talents has allowed her to create a unique space in downtown St. Catharines. At Second Dance, she provides gently used and popular brand-name wedding gowns, vintage designs, and a small selection of new gowns. She excels at creating meaningful, stress-free experiences for brides, their families, and friends. Jennifer also supports the community with a market and resale space for local artisans and entrepreneurs.

As the director of athletics and recreation, Matthew Davies has helped transform Niagara College’s student experience by creating a vibrant, high-performance culture both academically and athletically. Under his leadership, student participation in recreation programs has continued to grow, with more than 25,000 annual program visits. Matthew also oversees the operation of the Welland Campus Athletic Centre and works closely with the community through organizations such as Project Share and the Niagara College United Way Campaign.

Mike is a dynamic, results-driven sales and marketing professional with over 45 years of success in meeting or exceeding client expectations. He attributes his accomplishments to his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and community service. Mike is the owner and manager of Enviro-Niagara Heating & Air Conditioning—the 2015 Welland Chamber Small Business Award recipient—and has led the company to impressive growth.

Paul Chalmers is the owner’s representative and project manager for the new U-Haul of Niagara Falls, and the lead project manager for U-Haul Company of Hamilton. Paul ensures that contractors from across the Niagara area work together successfully to build the new U-Haul Centre in Niagara Falls. In fact, most of the work at the Niagara Falls location has been completed by local trades.

Sara Palmieri is the programming and marketing manager for the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in downtown St. Catharines. She holds an Honours B.A. in Fine Arts from York University and spent 12 years working at Brock University in alumni relations, development, and strategic engagement. At FirstOntario PAC, she programs a diverse season of educational and professional shows, concerts, and community initiatives. Sara is a passionate arts advocate and was recognized as one of Ontario Presents’ Emerging Leaders.

Through only a few months in his new role as director of business development at Future Access Inc., Scott Prince has already made a significant contribution to the web development and digital marketing agency. Branching from his previous experience in the news industry, Scott now leads business development efforts and supports clients in strengthening their online presence. His passion is evident through his volunteer work with organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Lincoln County Humane Society. Scott is dedicated to elevating the health and vibrancy of Niagara through his work and community leadership.

Dr. Tanya Lowrey graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004 and is now the owner and veterinarian at Huntingdon Animal Hospital in St. Catharines. Dr. Lowrey spent over eight years working in the Niagara veterinary community before her leadership and clinical excellence led her to establish her own practice. She specializes in emergency veterinary care and is recognized for her compassionate approach to veterinary medicine. As the assistant branch manager of the Lake Street branch in St. Catharines, Emily has demonstrated her passion and commitment to her team, customers, and the community. With more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, she values strong relationships and holistic financial planning. Emily volunteers extensively, promoting literacy and financial empowerment for young students. She serves on several committees, including Project Share’s Financial Literacy and Santa’s for Kids, and plays an active role in PenFinancial’s community initiatives.

Gianna Dritsacos is academic director and teacher at Royal Oak Community School in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She is also a founding member of the school, which opened in 2008. Gianna completed her B.Ed. at McGill University in Montreal and later earned additional qualifications in special education and reading instruction at the Lake Erie College of Education. Specializing in kindergarten through grade eight, Gianna is recognized for her commitment to delivering high-quality education in both public and private school sectors.

Heather is best known as the creative force behind Creative Bug in Beamsville. She is a D’Artsoulhe MBA grad with experience in corporate, non-profit, and small business environments. Heather is deeply immersed in her community and loves supporting creative programming, offering opportunities for youth and adults to learn, grow, and explore new skills. Heather’s passion for her work shines through her hands-on programs and outreach initiatives, where she fosters belonging and creativity for all participants.

Over the past 12 years, Jeff Letveniuk has worked diligently to promote an impressive portfolio of 100% VQA wines. As the marketing manager of Pillitteri Estates Winery, Jeff has been instrumental in developing the Icewine Festival, the Wine Country Ontario marketing campaign, and the Energy Icewine Bar. Jeff graduated from Brock University and works closely with the wineries, the LCBO, and the Niagara region. His accomplishments in enhancing outreach to educational institutions are crucial for the future of the Ontario wine industry, creating the next generation of wine professionals.

Josh Bond holds a BA from Western University and a law degree from Windsor. He began his legal career in Toronto before returning to practice in Niagara, where he joined Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP as a partner. Matt Mandziuk is the co-owner of Dan’s Dive Shop Inc., a career path he began forming from his first dive in 1979. Matt has spent more than 20 years working in the marine industry and now leads one of North America’s largest dive training facilities. He has participated in many international scuba diving expeditions and is recognized for his strong commitment to advanced scuba training, technical diving, and marine conservation. Matt has elevated the company through modern digital marketing, improving its public presence with online visibility and educational training programs.

Locally grown in the Niagara Region, Natalie is a confident, passionate individual with a unique spirit. Raised by a family of scientists, she discovered her love for travel early on. By age 18, she accepted a job in India and spent two years dancing competitively. Natalie later pursued communications and business at Western University, eventually building her career across Southeast Asia. In 2012, she returned to Canada and joined Brand Blvd., where her dedication to clients and creative collaboration have made her an invaluable team member. Natalie volunteers for organizations like Gillian’s Place, the Canadian Mental Health Association, and many more.

Robin Ridesic is the founder and CEO of The Exchange Brewery, a new, award-winning brewery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. She graduated from Queen’s University and later earned her MBA from Boston University. Robin spent over 10 years working as a management consultant before returning to Niagara to launch the brewery. She is deeply committed to community life, serving on several boards, including the United Way of Niagara, the Women in STEM network, and local creative and social initiatives. Robin is honoured to be named a 40 Under Forty Award recipient in her new home of Niagara.

Sarah Randall is an award-winning realtor with Royal LePage in Ridgeway. As a top-producing realtor, Sarah has been recognized as one of the top agents in the region for multiple years. Her strong community involvement includes fundraising, supporting local initiatives, and serving on various boards. Sarah works passionately to help others find homes they love while contributing to the growth of Niagara’s communities. Sean is a pharmacist and the owner of Simpson’s Pharmacies in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Meadow’s Pharmacies in Niagara Falls. Born in Welland and raised in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Sean is a big believer in “strong minds unite” and community connection. He hosts a weekly radio show every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on 610CKTB, speaking about important issues and the vital role pharmacists play in health care. Sean remains active in his profession as the chair of the Ontario Pharmacists Association’s economics committee. He is also involved in numerous community initiatives, serving as campaign chair for the United Way of St. Catharines and District.

Charles Kissi enters his fourth season as head coach of the Brock men’s basketball program. The 35-year-old Niagara resident has built one of the strongest basketball programs in the country in just three years. Charles is committed to giving back to the community while leading the Brock University men’s basketball program. He has been a strong leader and role model for the young men he coaches. Charles believes in the power of teamwork, discipline, and service. He has raised his family in Niagara and actively participates in community initiatives that strive to improve quality of life in the region.

Danielle grew up in her family’s business and earned her degree from the University of Waterloo before returning to Niagara to further her education and contribute to her family’s company. Now an experienced business owner and manager at Rinaldi Homes, Danielle oversees operations and leads community outreach initiatives. Her strong leadership has helped grow both Rinaldi Homes and the region’s development sector. Danielle is an advocate for local charities and women in business and volunteers with local organizations.

Who would have thought that a sociology and criminology graduate from Western University would gravitate toward the promotional products industry? Hired at Brand Blvd. in 2011, Emma quickly stood out and moved into the role of customer service representative by 2014. She was the first person in company history to be recognized with the “Raving Fan Award” for her outstanding service. Emma volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and is actively involved in community events such as Community Care, Hike for Hospice, and Gillian’s Place. Her caring nature and passion for people have made her a valued ambassador for Brand Blvd.

Gillian is the director of human performance at White Oaks Resort & Spa. After graduating from McGill University with her BA in 2008, Gillian went on to play professional volleyball in Europe for two years. Upon returning to Canada, Gillian built a career in Niagara as a strength and conditioning specialist, working with athletes from development to professional levels. She has since been promoted to director of the fitness department at White Oaks Resort, where she leads her team in promoting optimal health and wellness.

James has been a partner at Tony DiPaola Professional Corporation since 2008. Since joining the firm in 2006, James has helped it grow from a single partner firm with two other employees to a firm of four partners and 14 dedicated staff members. James is also a volunteer with a community breakfast program in St. Catharines that has served breakfast to the homeless every single day for over 20 years.

Jennifer has been in the gaming industry for more than 15 years and is the director of marketing services at Niagara Casinos. Over the past seven years, she has led a staff of 13 and is responsible for driving revenue through award-winning promotions, digital media, and retail programs. She has spearheaded many of Niagara Casinos’ charitable and community initiatives, including partnerships with United Way and Wells of Hope. Jennifer is passionate about improving the community and volunteers with Wells of Hope and is a board member for United Way Niagara Falls / Fort Erie.

Julie is a lifelong Niagara resident and Brock University graduate, and she is proud to serve her community. Working with the Mayor of St. Catharines on strategic priorities, communications, and government relations, she has also been a board member of YWCA Niagara and continues to support and empower women and girls. In 2015, she was honoured to represent Niagara at the UN Conference on the Status of Women in New York City. Together with a team of dynamic community leaders, Julie is looking forward to the third annual Niagara Leadership Summit.

Mike Deprez coordinates operational, financial, and environmental activities at Walker Environmental Group. A Brock University graduate, Mike has more than a decade of experience working in the environmental industry. He is trained in business strategy and risk management and contributes to key initiatives that support the company’s innovative waste diversion programs. Passionate about the community, Mike also volunteers with local charities and supports youth leadership programs.

Neil Culp is the associate director, organizational development and effectiveness, in the human resources department at Brock University. Holding an Honours BA in psychology and an MBA, along with a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation, Neil has spent the last eight years at Brock focusing on strategic planning, leadership development, organizational culture, and continuous improvement. He has also published articles in HR journals and is an active member of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).

As a newcomer to the Niagara region 15 years ago, Sandy was thrilled to find a place that aligns with her passion for education and community. She is the associate director of experiential education at Brock University, where she works to create meaningful, career-building opportunities for students, in the classroom and beyond. Sandy is also a fitness instructor with the Niagara Region, a supporter of Habitat for Humanity, and an advocate for exploring Niagara through #ExploreNiagara and other local initiatives.

Originally from Midland, Ontario, William has made the Niagara Region home since 2010. He earned his degree from Brock University and has been active in community development ever since. William has coached Brock University’s women’s softball team since 2013 and has served as the intramural coordinator since 2015. A leader both in athletics and the community, William has supported programs assisting families and newcomers. Through the Education Foundation of Niagara, he has contributed to initiatives that support over 500 families in the community.
