This awards banquet and ceremony gives back to the Hamilton region by identifying outstanding individuals and businesses that contribute positively to the growth and development of our community. To date we have recognized the successes of 350+ business leaders across the region.

Introducing our MC, Eric Johnson , our alumni hosts with a gift for engaging audiences and creating memorable experiences. With years of experience in events organization, both have honed their skills as a charismatic and professional emcee, ready to bring energy and enthusiasm to our exciting event.
Ashleigh Montague is a community-focused individual who has co-founded several non-profit organizations, including Janus Skills 4 Success, Operation Feed the Homeless, and Nu Omega Zeta. She also co-founded BLK OWNED, a platform that supports black-owned businesses and helps Black youth entrepreneurs through education, advocacy, and research. As a Connection Specialist and Graduation Coach for Black Students at Saint Thomas More, she inspires youth to connect with themselves, others, and their community. Her passion for community is evident through her initiatives and her mission to motivate and inspire youth.
Eric Johnston is an award winning comedian, actor, and emcee that delivers a one-of-kind high-energy comedy experience. Fresh from his Coast to Coast “Run With The Bull” and “UntouchaBULL” Comedy Tours, Johnston has performed across Canada and the United States, having been featured on MTV, JFL, The Laugh Factory, The House of Blues and The Comedy Store in Hollywood. From stories about being raised by a professional wrestler, to jokes about thriving and surviving in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Johnston’s comedy is both outrageous and relatable, and will leave you begging for more.
